$195

Introduced in 1839, Daguerreotypes are the first approach of recording images. By the time of the Civil War the Daguerreotype procedure was no more being used, having been exceeded by more recent methods.
1/6th Plate Daguerreotype of female; original seal undamaged; case complete, leather hinge broke.
1/6th plate Daguerreotype of older guy; image faded; seal gone, case hinge poorly fixed.
1/9th plate Daguerreotype of lady, tinted cheeks; initial seal, leather case hinge broken.
1/9th plate Ambrotype of young kid; original seal intact; piece of tape on case hinge.
The last image the largest, a 1/4 plate (@ 31/4" x 41/4") Daguerreotype portrait of a man. Case is missing cover lid. Image is clear, sharp and in focus, but the reflections from my photographing it could make it look otherwise.
All five images for $195, found in Inverness, (Citrus County), @ 90 minutes south of the Gainesville area, @ 70 miles north of Tampa.
When calling (see contact info box above) please be prepared to speak to my answering machine, or email any concerns, thanks.
